As you celebrate your growing belly, your hopes of a future, and your anticipation of a new little life, please don't forget to document each of the milestones you reach. With our technology in this day and age, you can record these stages in so many ways. Here are a few ideas:
- Put your thoughts and emotions into written word through journaling or blogging. This is a wonderful way to preserve the memories for your family history. Nothing can capture your true inward feelings better than writing.
- Record every stage of your pregnancy by photographing yourself at the same location and in the same outfit. You can just see your belly growing and your body changing.
- Be a photojournalist by capturing the exciting events that mark your journey. For example, take photos as you register at your local baby retailer, as you celebrate at your baby showers, as you assemble the crib and stroller, as you go on a hospital tour, or as you educate yourself through classes or books.
- Don't forget the quirky things of your pregnancy too. Photograph your cravings, your swollen ankles, and the various medical remedies you try as you treat ailments such as heartburn.
